Have a 2015 SuperDuty with 6.2 engine,,,turn the key on to start , the gauges light up but nothing happens,, no clicking nothing,,happened once before and it did start after 40 minutes or so,,,battery is fully charged,,terminals clean etc,,what is there to check next???
Do you have the factory remote start? If you do, does it have the same problem when remote starting? If it starts ok with the remote start, then maybe it’s something in the key ignition
Bummer on the warranty, If the engine won't start, you would think that would be covered under the 5 yr/60000 mile powertrain warranty. Anyway, while I'm taking wild guesses, maybe check for a fuse or relay? Fuse 89 (40 amp starter fuse) under the hood, or relay 48 run/start.
3/36,000 is bumper to bumper. Wouldn't help if say it is ignition switch related. But you should have a 5/60,000 mile powertrain warranty in the event that its an engine problem.
