Hey guys, so I just got back from a week long vacation and we’ve had rain. This may be normal but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this. Inside the doors like on the painted part there was a decent amount of water. Which I guess is inevitable but the reason I want to double check is because a little bit of water got on the plastic step part and under this plastic piece. It was all just water that ran down the channel of the weather stripping but is that normal after a big storm? None of it got on the carpet. This is a 2018 xlt.
You know Guys I wonder if the Door Gaskets are Sealing Properly,It doesn't take much to close the doors in my Supercab,I'm constantly opening them and reclosing my doors
because I don't think that they are closed,These doors are allot lighter,See if the water is coming in that way, On your truck above that might be water coming from the Door Drains
I notice when I wash my truck, water seems to get into the doors. Both the front and rear doors have drain holes but since the doors actually wrap around the bottom of the cab they leak every time I open one of them up and they drip onto the steps. The OP never stated how soon after the rain he opened the door, but that maybe where the water is coming from.

that very well may be where it is coming from. It runs down that gasket and pools up in that spot where it’s circled in the pictures.

The water that you are talking about usually dries up pretty quick, but it has not rained all day and there is still water in the spot circled above.. it goes away after a long period of time. But fills up when it rains... I need it to rain again to see how long it takes to fill up and if it’s actually draining or if it’s just evaporating.
