I have a y2k ranger xlt 4x4 ext cab 3.0 flex fuel motor and was driving on the highway yesterday and hit a pothole, less than a mile down the road I experienced a vibration like I had thrown a wheel weight.
I got off the highway and then realized it wasn't a wheel vibration but was coming from the engine with a loss of power going up hills and getting slightly better on level ground. I got home checked for codes using Torque and Forscan with no errors showing, there was no CEL. I feel it was more than just a coincidence that this started right after I hit the pothole, I'm going to look into it today and see if I can find a vacuum leak. Any thoughts?
