Recommendations for Locking Hubs
I need to replace the autolocking hubs on my 1996 F250 (Dana 50/60, 30 spline, 3 bolt cap)
I can't afford Warns, so I'm looking at Mile Marker (I think it would be their 449S/S).
Does anyone have experience with MM? Or other suggestions?

My mile marker hubs have worked great. I would recommend them. Half of the miles we put on our truck is in four wheel drive off roading in the sand. In my experience mile marker, superwinch, or warn are all good options. There is not a real good reason to avoid any of them. I went with mile marker on this truck because I found a deal to good to pass up. The only hubs I have ever broken have been the stock ones and a mile marker that was improperly installed, slipped out of the locked position because a spring wasn't in the right place. I would rather break the hub than other parts. Good luck.

I had a 1990 F250 a while back, ad had this same issue. Warns were too pricey, but MM was having a sale...I ordered them from Amazon and when I got them and put them on, I LOVED them!!! Always worked great, always responsive, easy to activate, and seemed to be stout. they had a lifetime warranty if I remember right. Install instructs were great. Get them and you won't be disappointed.
