I have a 2014 F350 King Ranch 4 door 4 WD long bed. I have 105,000 miles on it, I do mostly highway driving. I live in Texas where it’s usually 100+ degrees in the summer time. Today I went through the car wash with my AC on low at the start of the car wash it was working fine. When we got to the bubbles that come down from the ceiling, they started coming out of one vent just to the right of my steering wheel. After I realized what was going on, it got worse. I immediately shut the AC off. After I got out of the car wash the AC would not blow on any setting. Any thoughts?
Don't know how much help I will be here, but, when I read the title, my first thought was when my lovely daughter, at 6 years old, spilled her bubble stuff on the dash, and it dripped into the vents, and put on quite a show when the A/C was used. LOL. Are you saying the fan will not blow on any setting? If so, check for a blown fuse, as the car wash stuff may have leaked into the blower motor connector. If so, see if you can you remove and clean/dry the electrical connection to remedy the problem.
Two things come to mind.
1
you had the A/C on , fan low speed , I get that , and here is where the bubble come in .
Fresh air is mixed with air at the base of the windshield, there are your bubbles .
2
water and bubbles in the duct work , right of the steering wheel , drip onto the hvac controls below that duct .
there is why it is not working .
