I have 1986 F150 and I am looking for a replacement windshield assembly plant decal from the Twin Cities assembly plant. I think Ford had one that was colored and one blue lettered with a white background. Does anyone have a picture of the colored assembly plant Ford /UAW windshield decal?
Thank you!!
Thanks for the link to the older than ... post
Never seen that before.
But it brings up a few questions I have.
1- What is the size of the sticker? measured at longest & widest part.
2- How many plants were there and locations.
3- What years were they put on?
4- Any way to tell where a truck was put together at?
Taken from the other post so people know what we are talking about.
Thanks

edit to add 2nd picture - note 2 different stickers from same plant. don't know what one is early or late but a guess first is early.
They measure about 4 inches by 2 inches. Not sure how many plants there were... Twin Cities, Norfolk, Kansas City, Louisville for the heavy trucks and super duty. The first time I saw one was in the early 1980’s. Look at the VIN and that tells you the assembly plant where the truck was built.
Thanks
I was thinking of doing something a little different (I rebuilt the truck ground up) but I don't think it will work the way I want it to.
