Looking for the turn signal switch assembly for 66 f350. NOS or aftermarket is fine. Thanks in advance. Scott

Not sure about aftermarket but the part number for the original Ford replacements is

C2TZ-13341-D

https://www.rearcounter.com/C2TZ-133...rts163286.html

One on eBay right now for what seems like a lot of money but the few NOS dealers I've checked with all want $300 or more for a kit that includes a few more goodies (turn signal lever, bulbs, flashers, hardware). I have not checked on the switch itself.

You won't find a part number, because there isn't one. The Ford ID engineering number was printed on a label that was looped over the wires. Post what it is.

Remember, the 1966 F250 4x4 and F350 is quite a bit different than the 1966 F100/250 2x4 and F100 4x4. I can take pictures of both if you'd like to see them side-by-side. Considering a reproduction is $175 and likely not correct for a 1966 F350 the one on eBay at $185 seems like a veritable bargain.

Here they are side-by-side. The one on the right is the

C5TZ-13341-B - Turn signal only - Marked C5TA-13341-B
65 F100/250 (except 4/W/D)
66 F100
66 F250 (except 4/W/D)

On the left is the

C2TZ-13341-D - Turn Indicator Switch and Mounting Plate Assembly
61/66 F350/600
61/65 F100/250 4/W/D
66 F250 4/W/D
other big trucks

In this case it came in one of the 3 bigger boxes behind with the lever, bulb, flasher and other miscellaneous hardware.

The first flavor has a different stub for connecting the turn lever. The turn lever threads into the brass stub. It has only the molex pins on each wire but no connector is included, that's a different part number. That's so you can pass the wires through a portion of the column before putting the connectors on. You have to find the pinouts for the connectors to make sure you wire it correctly after it is installed in the column.

The second flavor, like you'd want for an F350, has a metal ring attached to the switch and the wiring is different coloring and the connectors are already installed since the wires just pass through a removeable metal sleeve that attaches to the side of the column and is installed after the wiring it installed through the bowl. The wires only pass through one larger hole in the steering bowl, but simply run parallel to and on the outside of the column itself. The lever is attached to the stub by a separate screw and two "ears" that keep the lever firmly in place.

I hope that helps.

Here's a picture of the two turn signal levers. Same **** on both. Upper is the one that screws into the brass stub and the lower one uses the separate screw through a hole in the end of the lever. The lower one will always be black whereas the upper one would either be black or color coordinated with the column in the case of a Custom Cab.

The first flavor (not F350) also uses a seldom seen (they don't survive very well) sleeve that covers the wiring where it exits the column at the lower end. So the wires pass through the column inside wiring tunnel, then this sleeve is placed over the wires and slid up until it is partially inside the column wiring tunnel and then the molex pins are inserted into the plastic connectors.

Hazard switch looks to be out of place...

Although I seem to remember thinking at one point in time that large trucks (F600 and F700) up to about '79 used a similar steering column to our F250 4X4's and that the turn signal switch from the large truck would, in fact, fit in our 4X4's if a notch was made for the Hazard light switch.

Your mileage may vary...
