4 wheel shift

I am new to this.
I am a new Ford owner.
My 2008 F150 switched to 4 low on its own.
The switch still in the 2 w position.
Can any one help?

read the several paragraphs on the first post..... if you have a vacuum leak, the front wheels will lock into 4 x 4... but you have to also have the transfer case motor locked in to turn the front drive shaft.
