92/ 93 engine swap
I have a 93 F150 , 165,000 miles with a 302 engine that I believe the oil pump failed and broke a rod. I got a 92 f150 engine for $300 with 70,000 miles out of a rollover . Are there any major differences or is this a direct drop in ? Thanks

You can use it as it is 92 and 93 were the same under the hood. as for all the electrical and sensor hook ups for the 5.0 . it would be a good ideal to check out the 92s 5.0 before installing it.
91 is slightly diff and 94 and 95 had slight mods.

Engine for engine, any 302 would work from '87-'96. Everything else is what is different.
Late 92+ are roller motors, but that shouldn't make any difference in swapping.
I would use the 70k 302's fuel injectors instead.
