Fuel Filter help!!

I'm trying to change the fuel filter on my 1992 F-150 and I removed the clamps on the lines but the lines wont slide off the filter. Thanks Craig

Fuel Filter help!!


You need the spring release tool. It slides up in the line and releases a spring that holds the filter in place. The tool is plastic, comes in different sizes and not expensive. Ask for a spring release tool that you can buy at any auto parts store. I believe the size is 3/8", but not positive.

Thanks, I just ran up to O'Reilly's b4 they closed and got a 6 piece.
