one more thing. I have six Fox 2.0 reservoirs on my personal truck, but have used the Bilstein 7100's as well. Stick to your guns on this issue, they are also worth every penny.
While the Fox 2.0 and Bilstein 7100s are both very good shocks.....the Fox 2.0 won't be able to flow as much on compression as the 7100s that Donahoe uses can.......the limitation on the Fox 2.0 is the small diameter resevoir hose that at high shaft speeds acts as valving.
Read this:
The relation between shaft size and hose size in shock design is defiantly a factor!
The ratio between the two increases the velocity of fluid in the reservoir hose.
Shocks work on the principle of increasing and decreasing the velocity of the fluid. We try to do this mostly on the piston were we have more control of how this happens. Thus we want the hose restriction (although always present) to be a relatively small portion of the equation.
For comparison here are some shaft hose size ratio’s
1” shaft W/ -12 hose (3.0” off road race shock ”King,SAW,Fox?”)
2.6 : 1 velocity ratio
Based on the shape of the pressure curve generated by this type of restriction you won’t see its affects until you get up in the higher shaft speeds anyway.
So until you hit a curb you won’t notice the difference.
If you plan on doing this a lot then get a bigger reservoir line.
i think i am going to go with the 8 front with 5 rear and 350 blocks
dual 7100s in the front. outlaw offroad sounds like they did a few. I will talk to them again at the off-road expo. now ineed to find a cool wheel and tire combo

Originally posted by peichai is there an online place to order ford parts. i need a few things like those 350 blocks and a vss module and the plastic cover for my pass mirror
Stock blocks maybe from your local dealer might be better. Somebody around here may have part #'s. Which plastic cover? The back cover for the mirror or the cover for the arms on the door? Oh well here's a LINK that might help.
its the cover for the arms on the door. thats what I was talking about with the 350 blocks. Its hard for me to get to the dealer so the site in the link might help alot. thanks. for all the help
now for tires and rims

Your in trouble now bud! That "cover" will cost the the price of a new unit. "Not sold separately". I should know! Now if it was the cover to the mirror portion well then hey no problem.
that bites a biggy. I have to buy the whole mirror. i am thinking of 355/65R18 nittos but I cant find a wheel besides stone crushers and mtn crushers. everybody has those. I would like to run axis regulators but I think they only come 17 and most cool sim beadlock only come 17
maybe I will get reinforced 18s. I think if I get a cool rim I could go with a street tire if not I will go with 17s and some PJs. I heard the nittos do really well in the sand where i spend most my time.
I don't have a lot to spend on tires and rims. But 17" M/T II's & 37" PJ's are what I'm goin w/. The 17" PJ is fairly narrow though. Except the 38x15.5x17!
see thats my thing also. I want to go sim bead lock besides weld.
I am looking for a wider rim. who knows I will probally get the same tire combo as you. it depends on how much reinforced 18 rims come out to. otherwise i will go wiith the axis regulators.
Peichai,
Have a gang of pics of my truck, but I am kinda semi-computer illiterate. I can scan and send to an email address, but haven't figured out how to get them to this site. (or my pfile/signature).
When I do, I will post them.

Tim,
Click on the "Galleries" link at either the very top of the page or on the right side menu. Then at the top right of the galleries box click where it says "Create/Manage Gallery" or something like that......and then just follow all the steps and you can upload your pics. I'm pretty computer illiterate too......MrRottnDog explained it to me how to setup my gallery.
