Power sliding window gasket

I have a rear window gasket that the drivers side is all chewed up. This was after a month of ownership in which I might have opened it once. It was winter in NH. I noticed after we got to FL. Ford has finally agreed to replace it, but they want me to pay $172. Anyone else notice issues with theirs?

thanx Dean

I've used mine quite a bit and haven't had any problems...

Nine months, 55,000 miles, operated about once a week or four times per month on average. No issues.
