But will it last?
I have an Acer Spire A5(W10) that suddenly decided to stop accessing the net. It would show as hooked up and happy, but various browsers could not find anything.
I rolled it back -- only a week -- and it became intermittent. Mostly non functional.
I had read that recent updates might have obscured access to the drivers, but they seemed to be there. A computer place suggested that I manually download the latest from Acer. I thought that the wireless hardware was at fault, but didn't know.
Then today, it started working a bit more reliably. I had it search the net for wireless drivers and it actually installed them. It seemed to be working OK, so I pushed my luck and had it update W10 -- a fix to 1803 which has been reported as problematical.
It did that OK as well, and right now it seems to be OK. Tune in next week to see what happens from here on in. If it starts acting flaky again, I'm bringing it in and asking that they check the hardware. Event Viewer reported a number of errors when it was failing -- it just acted like hardware that had some sort of intermittent failure.

Welcome to the world of computers...

Windows does that sometimes.. Usually uninstalling the device and reinstalling resets things
It should last until the next update screws it up... LOL
I have an Epson printer that I bought a year and a half or 2 years ago and never had a problem..
Did an update last week and it broke the printer
They just sent me a replacement
