Not able to Watch gears changing while in Drive?
in my 6.7 ‘18 F350, I sometimes take a glance inside the vertical window on the right side of the circular tach on the left of the cluster screen to see the gears change.
Yesterday I noticed I couldn’t see it. At first I thought it might be my polarized sunglasses. But later when I took the glasses off I still couldn’t see.
What could I have done to eliminate that, and how can I get it back?

No, it doesn't have to be in park. My '17 doesn't. NONE of my previous ~12 Ford vehicles with this feature had to be in park to do this, either.

I wanted to make sure I wasn’t manually changing the gears. I simply wanted to get a feel for the RPM shift points for the gears while in D. Thanks for the tips
as I couldn’t find it in the manual— I’m sure it’s there somewhere.
edit. I felt a little silly asking such a trivial question, but I’m trying to learn this truck ASAP . So thanks again.
On my truck when I have the car in park and touch the “+” button nothing happens, but as soon as I move to “D”, the gears pop up.
