make sure you check the model year of the truck on the dyne sheet the 99 is a non PI and has less less power than the 00 and up trucks and may not respond as well to tuning as it can't move the same air as the PI. As far as the tuning for a gas truck goes that doesn't have drive by wire throttle control is most of your improvement will be in the transmission shift and convertor lock up strategy don't expect a big difference in power as long as you know what your getting you shouldn't be disappointed but be aware your not going to gain a 100hp and a120ftlbs like tuning a diesel. the biggest improvement is going to be gears 4.30's for stock size tires but they are going to run you 1k per axle with out any locker or limited slip up grades which if your at that pint thats the time to do it. one thing I did that I was impressed with was the spd y pipe but you truck has a different yipe than the later ones as well and i don't think is as effective.
