I ran thru some sloppy mud the other day. Today I noticed the insides of the flaps were caked; the running boards and fifth were spared.
They did nothing for the layer of lovebugs on the front of each unit.

I was thinking of getting the extra long on the 350 dually. But then was wondering how they would fare with a load that might cause some squat. Anyone have feedback on towing with the extra long flaps on a dually?
I have extra long on my SRW and I wish I wouldn't have done it. The reason is I bought the extra long and they were fine until I lowered my rear end of the truck 2 inches with the smaller 2016 blocks. Lowering 2 inches means that they sometimes don't clear curbs when backing into a spot.
They don't drag the ground, but I'm not convinced I needed the extra long ones for the rear. I do love the flaps though.
DuraFlap cautions against using the long flaps (causing problems with things like curbs). Unless you have a specific problem that long flaps would correct (and where things like curbs are not a problem) then I would suggest you follow their recommendation.
Of course you can install the long flaps and then cut them back vs. trying to stretch the standard flaps.
Only tomorrow and Friday: DuraFlap is offering free shipping on orders of $235 or more.
I suspect they'll also honor the FTE and Military discounts - provided you ask for it.
These things are great. I’ve had mine since September, they sure reduce the crap that gets on the running boards and bed. If you’re on the fence they are worth it.

I'm definitely going to buy them at one point. Would be worth it in winter time in my eyes. They look like the best out there as a no drill application and sure are pretty thick.
I was thinking about getting these as well but I'm also considering having line X bed liner sprayed on my rocker panels and factory tire flares . Were it has that whatever it is non fate UV coating and then get a matching rear bumper.
While I'm unsure where you are going with this I would say that while spraying your rocker panels may be worthy it's better to prevent road crap from ever traveling downstream, and beyond.
In my specific case I primarily wanted to prevent dirt / damage to my pulled fifth. So far so good.
in thinking about this, spraying the rockers will probably protect them and look pretty cool at 1st but thinking it will chip and start to look nasty over time. I also think that the stuff coming off the tires is getting stuck in all the nooks and crannies. I've had to take one of my steps off, the brackets for the side steps have 2 raised sections in the metal for strength, that valley was caked in sand. Hoping the flaps will stop the crap from getting there in the 1st place.
