From your symptoms it looks like the ignition switch is OK. Try this simple test, turn the key on & ground the "fuel pump" pin in the EEC4 test connector. The connector is hanging at the end of it's wires under the hood near the heater blower motor. When you ground the pin you should hear the pump relay click & the pumps should run. This tests 90 percent of the fuel pump circuit, but not the ECM. If the pumps run when you do this the ECM is a suspect. If the pumps dont run the ECM is probably OK.

The positive battery cable & 4 fuse links are connected together at the starter relay, one of those links feeds 12 volts to the fuel pump relay on a solid yellow wire. The 12 volts should be there whether the key is on or off. If this is how you have it wired maybe the link is blown
The exhaust wont cause a problem
A couple grounds to check are from engine to fire wall and negative battery post to the sheet metal beside the battery.

So grounds are there and hooked up. I will have to check that yellow wire for power. I ran a hot wire to inertia switch and pumps will run. And cool has power to it and out of it but is not firing like the signal from distributor is not being sent.
