351W Identification

I have a 351W engine in my 1991 F150. It was there when I bought the truck and I am trying to pin-point the exact engine.

The Casting number is E9AE-605-AA-9. Based on that, it looks like I have a 1989, Full Size Engine, but I am having trouble determining what vehicle model it came from and if I interpreted the casting number correctly. Also, there is a "MEXICO" stamp on the front of the block, I'm assuming that's the country of production?...

Any insight into what I have under the hood would be helpful, thanks!

my bet is you have the engine that came with the truck from the factory.
from my understanding, ford only changes the casting number when there is a change in the engine design.

Thanks Tom,
I guess I was thinking that because the 3rd digit from the left was not a "E" (Truck), it was a different engine. When I looked it up the "A" in "E9AE" stated that it was a generic engine.

Also, before I got it, the owner said he put a new block in it. That's why I thought it came from some other line of vehicles, any additional thoughts?

So if I am reading it correctly, I have a 351W, full size engine, designed in 1989, assembled in Mexico on 02 August, 1990, and it has never been substituted with any other casting. I think the "9" means, it's the 9th engine cast in that year, but I am not sure. If anyone has any insight to the accuracy of my interpretation, it would help out a lot, thanks. I did some more research on the casting date found underneath "E9AE-6015-AA-9" and it reads, "0H2" which I interpret as:
0= 1990
H= August
2= 2nd day of August
MEXICO = assembled in Mexico

E= 80s
9= 1989
A= Full Size Ford Engine
E= Engine grouping
6015= Part number
AA = Original block
9= ?
