Alarm issue

The other night while camping, my truck alarm starts going off about 3am. I run out with gun and flash light to find nothing with 2 or 4 legs around. There was dew on all the handles that was not disturbed so I know there was no attempt to open. Go back to bed and aprox 10min later it goes off again. Turned it off, 10 min later does it again. This time I start the truck for a few hoping to maybe reset something?? Back to bed and it goes off again. Finally I just left the truck unlocked and went to sleep. This is the first time the alarm has ever gone off. Anyone have a idea what could be the cause?

Sounds like something was setting off the interior motion sensors. Since you said you were out camping, maybe a moth or other flying insect got trapped inside the truck and was setting the alarm off as it flew around. Just a guess though.

That's a possibility. I remember that the first time when I hit the unlock button on the remote the horn stopped but the lights kept flashing until I hit the unlock button again. All the other times it only took one time.

Yes - interior motion sensors, as well as truck body motion sensors. Common for a dog/person in vehicle to set them off if they are in the vehicle when locked.
You can go into the settings menu on the dash and check the box for "prompt on exit" to enable or disable the interior motion sensors. When camping (with camper attached), I just select "Perimeter only" so that camper motion doesn't set off the alarm.
