Am currently rewiring a 66 Ford for a friend, wiper motor wasn't hooked up, factory end plug was gone and no switch. I ordered a replacement switch from Dennis Carpenter Ford it is a aftermarket switch has 2-B connections, H, L, W, and P connections. Now pretty much understand these connections, and the truck does not have a washer. The motor has 4 wires-blue, red, black, & gray or white, hard to tell. Tried to find wiring diagram which did but can't tell which wire color does what, anyone out there that could give me some direction would be greatly appreciated. The owner just said they used to work and couldn't tell me if single or 2 speed I just want try get them working and not damage the motor in the process if indeed it is still good.

If the original switch is present, it will have a certain number of terminals and will have a Ford ID engineering number marked on it.
