So yes I know this has been beat to death but I still have questions. So I bit the bullet and bought and installed a set of Rancho 9000 in my 16 SD extended cab short bed 6.2 4x4 but I can't seem to get the settings right . Trying all types . Right now I'm doing 3 F. 1 R . Is that a bad setting ? I also see guys running higher numbers in rear then front. BTW I rarely carry anything but just want the softest ride I can get.
so let the suggestions come .
Lower your tire pressure. I had to change my tpms alarm points using forscan free software so I could run 50 in the rear and 60 up front without setting off the tire monitors
I run 5 up front (4400 lbs on the front axle with the diesel) and 3 in the rear when I'm unloaded. I'll bump up 1 or 2 in the back depending on what I'm hauling and how far.
