2018 2.7 EB hard shift sport mode

So less than 2,000 miles on her. I removed the two intake tornadoes, put in a custom intake. Left the map sensor intact. Everything else stock.
Was running 87 switched to 89 fuel. Moved the plate to not block the intercooler.
Today was 91 here in New England. I was off the highway and going back roads goosing it in sport mode. No issues having a blast. 10 speed shifting like a charm. Even had a couple hard stops.
Go to get back on the highway still in sport mode and was fine. Then lane openes up and I goose it, get a considerable up/down shift bump. Thought I was tagged by someone. First one in this truck like this.
Temps were normal. Tranny looked a little high 194-208 temp. So I put back into normal mode the rest of the way home, no other issues. Just odd.
I read some other posts but if it was timing I would see more often?
I will say before the highway I was really just working the truck and it had been running for 30 minutes in steady moving traffic prior to that.
Maybe I pushed to hard? My first turbo vehicle so wasn't sure if I am expecting too much from it?

Anyone else see similar issues when pushing hard?
Also I was in a steady rpm increase band. I didn't just slam the gas so the ecu had time to shift and work through the speeds.

Update, no real other major issues seen. I just stopped changing to sport mode while moving. Not sure if that is a fix but I just only change modes at stop lights and in park. Seems to be fine like that.

When in sport mode, mine shifts more firmly. Also, after driving aggressively, it seems to learn that I am wanting it to behave more aggressively....that might be what you experienced. You were driving harder, cruised a bit, but it assumed you still wanted to romp on it.

You can do it at any time, no need to wait until stopped. It is all done via software, it's not like shifting a transfer case to 4L.

Yup. Do it all the time. Stopped, low speed, doing 65 on the freeway. Doesn't seem to mind at all.

I will second this, transmissions have had relearn processes for years, but this one has multiple modes. When racing around use sport and cruising go back to normal and see what changes. Now to be real, you won't ever have a 10 year perfect shift every time truck, expect quirks

All these modes are absolutely stoooooopid.
New technology, new problems. These transmissions just can't learn when going from one mode to the next. I believe they get confused. I only have 8k on my truck, but I went between normal and ECO every day. It had minor glitches and such frequently. I have stopped using ECO and stayed in NORMAL for the last 1,000 miles, and it shifts very consistently. Went to ECO and SPORT this weekend, and now back in NORMAL, and some weird bumps, bands, and shifts have resurfaced. I have had a LOUD bang in park after 20 minutes sitting, and on startup after sitting over night a delayed move, but mostly okay.

im having the same issues.. this has happened to me a few times while driving sometime not stepping on the gas really at all and other times when accelerating onto the freeway. Today I thought someone rear ended me. Also had the tranny slip when taking off from a stop light. Have 2.7 eco on 18 f150stx. Heading to the shop next week.. I know other have said there is no fix.. but man.. 40 grand and here I am having shifting issues already.. been happening since about 5k miles.. have 24k now. My 2006 had a motor knock which never went away and vacuum line issues which were intermittent after about 100k miles.. never did it one time shift like this.. and it had about 280k miles on the original tranny and I pulled heavy duty lawn equipment behind it for 7 years..
