My previous thread indicated I changed out front turn signal and side marker bulbs to LED. Had the hyper flash issue so installed a Novia EP 27 Electronic LED Flasher and hyper flashing stopped and blinkers blink normally.

However......now the flasher clicks (as if blinking) when engine is shut down and key is removed.
I can also operate blinkers without key (ignition on).
I tried to operate hazards button several times (read that cleaning contacts this way can help). It did not help.
I can turn key on/off a few times and it will stop clicking. After about 20-30 seconds, clicking will resume.

What can this be?

Remove the Novia and see if it goes away. If it does, you'll have your answer.

 

Will exchange Novia Flasher today for another new one. Same brand, as O'Reillys doesn't carry any other LED flashers for this vintage truck.

 

Changed Novia and still same problem. Not interested in dealing with these gremlins.....decided to go back to incandescents.
