HELP PLEASE!!! turn signals only work sometimes

So when i turn the key to the on positions and turn on the turn signals they work. Then when i turn on the engine and turn on the turn signals they do not work. I replaced the turn signal flasher and the fuse and i still have the same problem. What could it be?

Once you crank your truck, turn one of your signals on and then slightly turn the key forward and backward and in and out without turning the truck off. If the signals begin to work, it may be the switch.

look for any bad connections in your fuse box or any place else , grounds also !

it is 84 f-150, 4.9l v6, no towing package

I agree, wiggle the switch. I bet your wipers and some other stuff are acting flaky also.

kind of stupid but i had similar problems with mune after a new signal and ignition switch. turns out the hazard switch was pulled half way out thus interferring with normal signal operation
