My ac didn’t seem cold enough so I decided to give it charge from a can you buy from auto parts store. I ended up flipping the can upside down for a few seconds to get some oil in I guess. Now my ac is worse. Any thoughts on what I should do? I know already I should’ve left it alone. Thanks
zxwut? - You need to take it to a shop so they can put gauges on it and do it right.

AND, be sure to tell them what you "...ended up flipping" in. More than likely it contained a sealant, stop-leak, additive that gunks-up not only your A/C system but also their evacuation equipment. That and, sure hope you didn't mix refrigerant types.
Why would you liquid slug the low side of the compressor? It's a horrible idea! You vapor fill the low side and can liquid fill high side during a complete refill only with the system off. Those cans of death contain leak sealer and extra oil. You do not want to over fill the oil in a ac system.
