Somebody has come to the rescue of "Non-fans" of Auto Start Stop and those that would like their trucks to remember their desired
"Drive Modes".
Ran across this new hardware module and thought about "shortride". He has been looking for a solution to A.S.S. for a long time. Its a plug and play OBDII module that will remember what your last A.S.S. & drive mode setting before turning your engine off. On a restart it sets the 2 settings to what they were before. Not cheap, but solves these problems.

Thanks for the thought? I think I will continue pushing the button. I've already gotten use to it by now along with the button to select the ECO Mode feature.
Auto start/stop can be done with a simple jumper or Forscan (cheap to free). As for changing drive modes, I don't think I'd pay any amount of money, especially $300, to have a device do it for me,
Ouch! I'll just look into Forescan. I have the membership and OBD plug, just haven't felt ambitious.
It would be interesting to see what quantity of sales Ben Dover will get for $289.
