It wasn't a total loss, me and little man went swimming, then we played in the yard for a little while. Then he grabbed my finger and said walk, so we walked around the house till he saw the 4 wheeler and wanted to ride. We rode around the property for a little while, so it ended on a good note. We ate dinner and I gave him a bath, I think we were both worn out by then.

Hump day is here! Less than a week left of this month, usually July seems to last forever.

hottest week of the year last week. Peaked near 115.

This week is low 100, next 90s.

We had a cold front come in Monday, so it was only 90 ahhahaha

we have 5 cats and 2 dogs, they are under the no replacement plan. Once they go away they are not replaced. Critters are both good and bad. You can not just go somewhere spur of the moment, you have to take them into consideration.

We have 6 dogs , most were rescues and are the same as Hugh, no plans to replace. We decided to go to the beach in September when the mom in-law returns. So that means I need to get busy installing the tow stuff on the Hummer. I am also going to change the oil and filters and new fuel filters. I sure don't want any maintenance issues on the highway.

Do you forget the rest of that zoo you got up there?

Got the Chinaberry limb cut up Eventually the rest of the tree has to come down. Just let nature work.
Had to go out to the land to get the saw. Got to get back out there and bushhog again

The wife took a few of the goats and some chickens to the auction a few weeks ago. With so many and the heat it was not enjoyable for her anymore. Something ate a bunch of her chickens so the zoo is smaller than it was. I am excited about the beach trip, more excited about relaxing and the food than really going to the beach. I know little man will have a blast playing in the sand and water.

We had a cow named lug nut! My son likes cats, one would not last long around our house.

It's Friday !! not payday Friday bit good enough! I have 2 more days of the month to bring my efficiency rating up, I should be OK but don't think I have enough to be top tech for July. But everyone else had had a crazy month too so you never know. The crabgrass killer is kicking in on the lawn , once it's totally gone I will reseed to fill in the bare spots.

I was excited about our upcoming beach trip so I leveled out the motorhome on the jacks which I have done 30 times and drained the main water tank. Put some bleach and water in the tank and went to do a couple of other things, came out of the house and the drivers windshield has cracked!! Unbelievable. I did manage to get the tow base plate installed on the Hummer and I will start on the light harness tomorrow.

Filed a claim for the windshield with the insurance company this morning. Talking to my neighbor down the road last night at the motorcycle rally and he had the same exact thing happen to his motorhome. He said it took 2 weeks before his insurance company had someone out to replace it since the glass is special order. I was going to get a new sat dish for the motorhome but looks like the deductible will kill that idea for now. Little man sure did love all the motorcycles. Someone there had a super nice dune buggy and he went crazy wanting to go for a ride in it and the motorcycles too.

We are seriously considering a 7 day cruise out of Miami in October of next year. My wife is finally coming around to my way of thinking on 2 vacations a year.
