Its doing screwy things like the backup camera won't come on when its put in reverse, then a message comes up saying that the transmission isn't in park. Tonight the dome light and puddle lights wouldn't go out after it had been parked for several minutes.

That is weird.. Probably a module controls all those things

After we had problems with the Explorer that were weird. I'm leaning toward a battery.
