what does this toggle switch do?
someone added a toggle switch to the dash of my truck before i bought it. one half goes to the fuse box under the dash the other goes to a bundle of wires that is right in the middle of the firewall down low where i cannot see it. and i cannot see it affecting things when i switch it on or off and it bugs me to know what it affects. as soon as i get a camera or a cell phone that works i will figure out how to post pictures.

It would be impossible to tell without seeing what it is spliced into or if it is even connected at all. Any pictures? Specifically of the wires and what they are spliced to?
My guess is it was probably for aftermarket lights or something that aren't on the truck anymore.
