Okay guy's I just joined the group and I hope someone out there can help. I have a 2009 F-350 Super Duty. We purchased the truck with a 103,000 on it and it was in beautiful shape at 105,000 the motor went into limp mode and we found it was washed. I found a great mechanic who rebuilt the motor at a reasonable price, Out the door $13,500. I did the delete kit and installed a tuner. At first the truck was running strong, hwy miles anywhere from 25 to 30 mpg and we were ecstatic. The first issue came up about 6 months latter with a code showing the exhaust pressure sensor low we changed that and everything was good for about a month and now it's in all kinds of trouble. Had an injector go out so we changed that again everything was good for about a week now I'm having all kinds of issues. Anywhere between 7 to 10 codes coming up, cruise won't engage, tow haul switch acting up and just running like crap when it's first started in the morning with a little white smoke added into the black. Once it's warm it's not running too bad. HELP. I wanted to add we first changed the tuner thinking it was the problem and went to the Mini Max, not much different in the way it run's.
The motor was a complete rebuild and I watched it go together and checked on it every day. New H.P. Injectors were installed, bored and new pistons and rods, new H.P. cam and fuel pump, ARB studs, and the smaller of the two turbos as well just to name a few items. The guy who built it did give me a warranty and has been great to work with just searching for ideas. I was also thinking connection issue. This has us both stumped right now. I'm going to pull the codes and list them here once I get the chance.
