Please Help Injector Problem
About 4 months ago i blew a injector tip and caused me to rebuild my 7.3, put in oem overhaul kit, stage 1 single shot injectors, rebuilt the turbo and DP tuner. Life was good!! Well i was driving through my small town after work saturday, the tuner was on economy like it is most of the time i was probably going like 25 mph and all of a sudden it started knocking really bad and pouring the whitish greyish smoke just like it did when the tip broke and took out my motor! So extremly pissed off today i pulled all the injectors out again today and no tips are broken! I think i am up to about 2500 miles on the new motor! Does anyone have any thoughts on this or any ideas???? Thank you

what eles happened? did you stop and have it towed home? did it smoke all the way back? was the truck warmed up? any codes? did the truck stall? how was your UVCH connections? any other info about the truck and mileage? torn orings? low oil? everything you saw put it down...even the stuff that may seem unrelated
with the info you gave us we are all just shooting in the dark...

Turbo is good just rebuilt it with the new motor. The truck has about 195,000 on it but like i said just rebuilt the engine with new injectors and oem overhaul kit and turbo rebuild about 2500 miles ago. I also had to have the heads done also. Once this happend i shut it off right away and we towed it back home. Didn't want to have to hurt my new engine more then i had to. There was no codes so thats what made me believe that it was on the mechanical side of the injectors. I would think if i had an electrical problem the truck would have put up a code. The oil level was right on full just like i always keep it, the truck was warm drove it bout 25 miles before this happend, it did not stall i shut it off as soon as it started knocking, all the injector o-rings and cups looked good. I did send the injectors back to full force today to get tested out. But today i got to thinking if my HPOP would cause something like this to happen? And if my CPS went out the truck wouldnt run correct?

A split nozzle will also produce the symptoms you describe. When my nozzle split on #5, it was hard (impossible) to detect even with the injector in my hand. So, I suggest that you wait for the injector testing report to come back. It sounds like you have a split nozzle to me.
However, when my nozzle split, I had a slew of codes. Which also happens to be the exact same codes as when the fuel flow is severely restricted. When that happens, the engine will still knock horribly but there won't be any smoke. Here is the list of codes that I had.
1280, 0472, 0237, 0198,2229,1690,0475,0541 and 0640
(0541 is because I deleted the AIH, so it's not related to this issue)
If you don't have any of these codes, then perhaps you have some some other issue.
