1966 N600

Hello, I just picked up a 1966 N600. I am having trouble finding parts like weatherstripping, instrument panel, gauges, glass and other interior parts as well as lighting. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Welcome to FTE.

Much of your cab is shared with the smaller trucks. Check post 39 here:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...68-n600-3.html

But maybe before that, inspect your wheels. From this distance, I see evidence they are the deadly "widowmaker" type wheels. Unsafe at any speed.

Ford two piece rims

Lots of pictures here and on the web if you search "widowmakers".

ALL the weatherstripping (windshield, back glass, door/window) is the same: 1961/66 F100/1100; 1963/69 N/NT500/1100; 1967/69 F800/1000 because all these trucks use a similar cab.

The only real difference is the N/NT doors are cut out at the front for fender clearance. All the glass is the same, as is the doors internal parts for these trucks.

The problem is, that the repro parts sellers only list the weatherstrips and etc parts for 1961/66 F100/350.

Round speedo instrument cluster parts are also the same. Some of the switches on the dash are the same as is the dome lamp, but only for specific years. Anything else you'd like to know?

Thank you for the info. That was my next question about the wheels. I would like to put 22.5’s on it with super singles on the back. Is there such an option??

6 lug 22.5s for super singles..... Hard to find.

One option:

Obsolete - American Wheel Specialist

This pops up:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ll-6-lugs.html

There are a lot more, and a couple members here have dealt with this.

One other solution is 20" tube-type wheels with locking rings. These are safe and serviceable and more available than the 6 lug 22.5s.

Follow the links in post 2:

Welcome to the FTE Phillip.
Love your truck.
Can you post some close up photos of your cab, interior, engine compartment, under floor area, what ever you can provide of your N600?
Love seeing those survivor trucks still living their lives.
Best of luck with your preservation efforts.
Where are you located?
