I've heard about these !!

But this is the first 1 I've seen. Wonder if it caused the white smoke lol

Not on me. It’s from the motor I pulled out of the rollback when I got it. I’m just now getting around to inspecting stuff out from the motor.

Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?

What I think I'm seeing: The copper washer at the bottom of the injector was blown out and the engine was run for a pretty long while after that? If that's true, I'm surprised it didn't take out that next o-ring. Or, is the o-ring shot but the diesel fuel kept it sorta clean looking up by the holes, above the o-ring?
