Ignition module help

I'm trying to replace the ignition module on my 1976 F350, but I can't get the plugs to separate. I've tried prying up on the retainer clips and pulling, but can't seem to get them to budge. I'm sure I put dielectric grease on the terminals when I installed the old one 5 years ago. If anyone can offer advice, I would certainly appreciate it.

Thanks

They can be very stubborn but they will eventually pull apart if you keep trying. You can always put a pair of channel locks on either end and work them apart if need be.

I've never yet been able to pull older ones apart without breaking (or at least permanently bending) the two tabs. And even when broken off, the two halves don't always come apart willingly.
Like flatbed said, keep worrying at it and they will eventually part ways.

Good luck.
