looking for ignition module

i have a 1995 F-350, 4x4, w/ a 7.5L...

my ignition control module is bad and i am looking for a new one, a mechanic recommended buying only a motorcraft...do you agree?

Try asking in the 87-96 section of F150's.
Just a thought.
I normally buy motorcraft replacement parts...normally.
