90 Bronco Vent Window Leak

The vent window on my 90 Bronco leaks badly because the forward end of the window doesn't close comletely against the seal. The seal looks OK and the window doesn't look warped, so I'm at a loss to how to improve sealing.

Anyone solved this or have some suggestions?

It looks like removing the window will require grinding a rivet out, but I hesitate to do that w/o some idea of how to improve sealing.

90 Bronco Vent Window Leak

You can try to move the outside bracket(hinge?) with a pair of pliers. Be carefull you just need to move it a little bit. If the bottom of the window leaks try to move it up, this will put more pressure on the bottom of the window.

Yes, after looking closely at the upper hinge post, I can see it is positioned further outboard than the pax side. I will try to adjust, carefully as you suggest.
