boat trailer lights

I have a 2011 Ford F-150. I had to rewire my boat trailer and the lights don't work. I have plugged into another trailer and everything works fine. Any ideas.

If none of the functions work, I'd say you have no ground.

My guess would be ground also. Did you have the trailer hitched, or did you just plug in the harness.

The white wire wire should be the ground through the connector, but ground can sometimes be through the hitch.

did you ground the lights on the trailer to the frame, or just to your new harness.

I'd have to start at the connector and see that you do have power there with you brake pedal pressed, or hazard lights flashing. If you do have power there, then yes it's a ground problem.
