Check engine light came on and code P02CD is what was brought up. Truck runs ok but when hooked to our goseneck with a load doesn't seem to have as much power. It also showed Fuel Air Metering. Can't gind much
Truck is a 2011 F350 with 150,000 miles. Only notice a reduction in power when pulling a 35'goose with about 9000 lbs in. When not hooked up truck seems to run fine. Everything is stock. Everything I find on that code seems to talk about gas trucks.
The two links I provided in my prior post were both diesel related. You probably wouldn't notice the derate in power not towing. Probably going to have to have a shop take a peek. If an injector is going bad, the new one's serial number has to be programmed into the computer.
P02CD - Cylinder 1 Fuel Injector Offset Learning at Maximum Limit
Has an EGR cooler ever been replaced on this truck at any point in time? I once had a truck that had one replaced in its repair history seeping coolant from the bypass valve to cooler housing gasket, onto the top of cylinder #1 injector causing a dead miss. I don't remember if it set that particular trouble code though.
