How to remove headlight ****

Hi guys! Here's another helpful tip for the archives.

So if you have to take the dash bezel (black trim cover surrounding gauge cluster), you have to remove the headlight ****. This may seem difficult but it's pretty simple. Here goes!

IF YOU WANT TO WATCH A VIDEO OF THIS REPAIR, CLICK THE LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE THREAD.

Here's the headlight ****. There are no screws or other visible fasteners holding it on.

So put the **** all the way out. Basically, turn your headlights on. Like so:

Now notice the slot in the plastic shaft. In that slot you will see a piece of metal. Insert a screw driver or pick and pry out toward the end of the **** as shown below:

As you pry out, pull on the **** at the same time. The **** should just pop off and you should be left with a triangular metal shaft sticking out:

To install the **** simple line up the triangular shaft with the triangle hole in the back of the ****:

Push the **** onto the shaft and it should slide back on! That's it!!
