E fuel
Once the filter housing is gone you are left with a bunch of wires and plugs just sitting there. I pulled my harness off the engine and de-pinned them, got rid of that whole mess except for the IPR wires which is the only thing needed. Got rid of the EBPS wires, too. Looks nice and organized now.
The sensors on the filter housing are nothing more than a pain. I don't know how many I have pulled out and put a pipe plug in it's place. Nothing related to the oem filter housing is critical or needed, even on a stock truck. It's all a nightmare waiting to happen.
A few years ago we had a truck that wouldn't shut off unless you unhooked the batteries. We traced the issue to that harness, clump of a mess, going to the filter housing. Somehow they melted together in the loom and was back-feeding the PCM keeping it going.
LOTS of good reasons to go with e-fuel.
