Sync 3/ Apple Car Play Issues
Wanted to see if anyone else has had problems with either the two systems. The Sync 3 system is alot better than the Sync 2 system i had previous experience and problems with in a 2013 F-150 i had. Anyway for the last couple of weeks when i start the truck sometime the screen will be black for awhile, or come on and not respond to touch right away. I won't let me change the radio station or do anything. I usually plug my iPhone in and use the apple car play, but that has been messing up also. The map in the sync system will not show up on the screen or it will say no GPS when it does come on. Also my backup camera will stay on after i switch to drive or the screen will be blue sometime. I've got it to go off by pushing the media button on the control panel. We've had alot of hot 100 days here in south Texas the last couple of weeks and i though the heat maybe causing the computer to mess up, but i would think they are designed to handle the heat without issues.
I like the system but not being able to use it without issues is getting frustrating. I haven't had time to take it to the dealer yet, so i was just looking for input and what my be causing it or how i can try and resolve the issues. I haven't tried a master reset but i probably should.

These are the same people that complain they don’t get the same taxes breaks full time residents do.
From thanksgiving to Easter we have to put up with the 85 y/o people from out of state that drive into restaurants and post offices, making left hand turns from the right lane, pulling out into traffic and doing15 mph under the speed limit in the left lane. Forgetting to turn off their turn signals for 5 or 6 miles, and are out during lunch time on work days making it difficult for working people to get anything done.
I really want to have a tourist get eaten by a gator when they are stopped with their vehicle half off the road taking a close up picture. And no, the women that got eaten in south Florida was not a snowbird or tourist. Just a transplanted idiot probably from somewhere “up north”.
It has gotten so bad here, that I’m leaving Florida when I retire.
All the the other seasons allow hunting and a bag limit. I don’t understand why snowbird/tourust season does have one. Because there are quite a few that should be eliminated from the gene pool.
I’m proud to say I have never been to “Mickey the Rat” land. And I’ve lived here most of my life.
I was on a flight out of Orlando going to Denver for business and the father of 2 with a young baby and a 6 y/o was seated in front of me. The guy was bragging about how they where returning from a short notice vacation to Mickey the rat land. He could not say enough to the guy sitting across the aisle about how they dropped 5000 on this vacation. I interrupted him and said “thanks for spending your money here and I’m glad you are heading home. One less tourist to put up with. Next time how about just sending your money and staying home. “
That stopped the bragging, but his kid scream for most of the flight. At least until this he-man dad start slapping him in the face to get him shut up.
Florida needs to institute a tourist tax. The tax would involve stopping anyone driving into to the state as tourist, giving them a beatdown, taking their money, and sending them back. Anyone arriving by plane will be require to sit in the plane for 24 hours with no A/C or bathroom service. Only then will they be allowed to leave the plane. Of course they get a beat down and their money taken. Then it’s back on the plane to fly to wherever they came from.
The state motto should be, Welcome to Florida, now go home.”
Yes, that how I really feel. No BS.
Ok, off the soap box and back to the real purpose of this thread.
