I see the above labor was only 52.00HR? I paid 164.00 an hour on mine. I guess it depends on location.

we have been fixing alum panels for 20 years now they just weren't so much talked about conventical body shop repair grinding, filling ,isn't as much as the paint work paint and materials have skyrocketed the last ten years or so. pdr (paintless dent repair) is good to a point but if its stretched to far they cant fix it . any good body shop can handle alum panels now replacing alum structure that is not bolted on is a different animal all together.

Beautiful '70 AMX. I have a soft spot for AMC stuff. Rambler Scramblers and Rebel Machines were, beyond the AMX, some of the coolest muscle cars of the day.

At least my baby survived without a scratch!

Ha! Saw the trailer and the American Motors logo and wording. Was wondering about what that was about, then saw the final pic. Then saw the username. Love it. Good stuff there.

Thanks guys, I finished a 4 year build on the car in 2011 and have been driving/showing it since then with upgrades along the way. I'm 7000km into this years car show trip with 5 of the 6 shows done now. Top awards at each show make those late nights worth it! Even had a photoshoot for Hemmings Muscle Machines in the trip while in Vermont!
