Since I am awaiting back surgery, that will put me out of commission for most of the summer, I have covered and stored our TT, and sadly our F250 as we have no plans to need it till I can get back on my feet.
Best wishes for your procedure. Take whatever your anesthesia providers offer for pain control and listen to your PT/OT during recovery and you should be kicking butt in no time.
Obviously wish you well with your surgery..... I’ll be going through 2 surgeries this summer. Maybe I’ll follow your lead and cover my truck.... good luck
About 9 years ago I went through cancer treatment and my truck at that time sat for almost three months except for the time I got my mom (69 years old at the time) to drive it just to give it some exercise. About two weeks into treatment I felt the need to do something so I started to do a brake flush. I went inside to get something and decided a nap was in order. Four hours later I came back out to find my 32 oz brake fluid bottle empty, brake fluid all over the (formerly nicely painted) floor and brake fluid dripping from the engine compartment. The seal on the brake fluid reservoir for my bleeder tool didn't get on tight. After that, I pretty much stayed out of the garage for the next three months.
