Front door speaker wire help

Has anybody ran new speaker wire to their front doors? If so, how did you do it? I went to run new wire through the rubber boot in the door jam and when I peeled it back, there is no space to run the wire through to the door.

I'd tap in to the factory run at the kick then connect it to whatever gauge wire you are going to use. I have 200 watts going to my front doors doing this with zero issues. 14 gauge going back to my 900/5. The factory wire is close to 16 gauge and for that short a run you would never "hear" any difference. The factory boots are a pain in the *** to get wire through, especially the drivers side. Pic below is the location of the factory wire, it just doesn't show the new speaker wire plugged into the blue male and female spade connectors. Drivers side is in the same place at kick on it's side.
