What to do??

I have a magnetic 17 F250 XLT premium, ccsb, FX4, with chrome package. I am wanting to change a couple things up to set it off from all the other trucks out there that look just like mine. Right now i just have tinted windows and a Truxedo cover. I will be doing different wheels with either 285/70/18s at stock height or possibly 35s with a 2” kit both front and rear, i want to keep a rake in the truck as i use it for hauling and towing. I am just worried about 35s and raising the truck because its already so tall and we want to move into a 5th wheel camper in the near future.

What other mods have people been doing to these trucks to seperate them from the crowd a bit??

Maybe just some accents. Tuff Skinz Letters, Delete the Fx4 Decal, add a set of Fender Liners and trim the front Spoiler down about 2 ". Hard to beat a nice clean looking Super Duty. I don't suggest raising your trucks center of gravity if you plan to tow.

Had my Lariat bumpers paint-matched. Also paint matched emblems and badges. Built my own Lariat "Sport" edition so to speak. 35% tint set it off nice.

Level it only

IMO: I’d not waste your time nor your money on rear suspension lifts. Level the front and put air bags on the rear. The truck will sit level without the nose down rake and you can load it up/tow and keep the rear from squatting. I think this set up offers you the best of everything. Furthermore, if you are inclined to “off-road” I’d further recommend Daystar Air Bag cradles to augment the air bags. With the addition of on-board air and a receiver (not required for the bags) you also gain peace of mind with ability to inflate on the go or off-grid.

Anyway you look at it- we all have a blank canvas to start with. Your “Picaso” will render its beauty when you create the truck YOU want and not be like the rest.

Enjoy the build...

We are camping this weekend, with-in 150 ft of our site there are 2 other 17/18 magnetic, ccsb, F250s. We took the dogs for a walk around the campground this morning and saw a total of 4 magnetic F250/350s, 3 were ccsb and 1 was a sc long box.

So ya I want to do something to set mine apart just a little bit from everyone else.

Yes on the leveling kit. 2.5" ICON coils, PMF 3-link arms, adjustable track bar, and Fox shocks. Tires are 295/65/20 Toyo MTs.

Also have the Airlift 5000 airbag setup for the rear.

Here are a few ideas. I had to tone down the amount of chrome on the front grille. Used black plastidip and metallizer plastidip. Results are very close to the magnetic color. Also added Rigid SR lights in the grille. Removed FX4 stickers. Switched to F150 magnetic color steps.
