I'm looking for the parking brake cable retainer springs for the rear brakes that moung to the top of the shocks. From some quick internet searching, my best guess is part number d3tz-2a709-d (for 1973 4x4 F250). I haven't been able to locate them. Can anyone confirm this is the actual part number I need, and possibly point me towards a source or alternative?
Yep, that's the spring. Might just go to home Depot and shop for door springs instead. These obsolete items are hard to track down.
Thanks for the quick reply.

What sense of humor? After waiting on idiots at Ford parts counters for 35 years, and spending nearly 12 years on FTE, not only have I lost my sense of humor, but my tolerance for stupidity. (sigh)
