Brand new truck missing parts
A friend of mine actually has the same exact truck as mine but a gas motor. I was looking at his and noticed mine is missing a bunch of parts. I'm missing front hub caps, rear floor mats, all the rubber and plastic inserts for cup holders, storage trays, and center console pieces. I've called the salesman and he's saying this has never happened before and giving me a hard time trying to get replacements. Has this happened to anyone else? It's very disappointing to spend a small fortune on a new truck and have these issues.

The real issue here is..... you followed through and actually signed the papers, and drove OUT of the dealers parking lot, in a brand new truck with NO center caps and NO floor mats? What kind of person are you!? Do you brush your teeth in the morning without toothpaste, also?? LOL
On a less serious note.. The dealers Make Ready department ****ed up.. tell your salesman to shove it and provide all the missing items.

Feel for ya'. Man. Truck purchasing is beyond stressful and time consuming. Every thing about it is F'd up. It's easy to miss something. I walk in and tell them what I'll pay monthly for a truck in their inventory. Don't show me #'s, or interest or any of that BS. Beat my # and you got a sale. It was easier buying a house. Ford and it's dealers need to get their s$%^ together.
To this day, I have no idea what my trucks receipt says or if I got taken or not. Mysterious taxes and fee's. 2% interest that ain't 2% when I do the math. $800 admin fee? I won't put up with it anymore. I point. "That truck, $525 per month. Deal?"
When I traded in my Mustang, I wanted to keep it's racing battery. So I asked if a could borrow a 4mm and 13mm wrench to swap batteries and leave the OEM new battery in the trade. With a dozen techs in the garage, I had to bum a wrench of a guy in the parking lot with a blown up Jeep XJ. **** poor customer service.
When I bought my Ducati. I spent 3 minutes deciding between the base and S model, then "I'll take the Red one." In and out in 10 minutes. Dropped a check off at the bank next door while they prepped the bike. Felt like an NBA star in a Ferrari dealership. Way, waaaaay better experience.

I totally understand that sentiment, but that's really one of the worst ways to buy a vehicle. There's just so many ways they can screw you. I always just ask for the out the door price. Everything included, every fee, every add-on, every gotcha. If I handed you a check today for the total price of the vehicle, what's the number. Let me figure out what the monthly will be. No shenanigans that way.

For some reason, that doesn't surprise me. You can't be an expert on everything....LOL
