Question on bug shield

Wondering if tuffskinz will fit this part properly?

Nope

Nope... the Super Duty letters on the bug shield are raised not recessed like on the hood. Skins would probably fall off resulting in an upset owner.

Something like: S per Du y

My Ford bug shield has recessed letters??? or is Lund different, even though sold in Ford accessories?

I just checked my paperwork...Part # SKHCJ-16C900-AA also from Ford Accessories, if this helps.

Wrong, Mine was factory ordered and delivered with the truck. SUPER DUTY is embossed in the material just like the hood.

PROOF: Raised letters

Ok- I snapped a pic to confirm... Yes, mine does have the raised Super Duty letters.
Hope this helps... For those whom doubted me, if you have the other style (recessed) please post a pic.

lol... I see the picture now. It wasn't loading on my computer earlier. I don't have one yet.... I kinda like the raised look though.

The OEM (from factory) is not made by Lund. However the OEM sold to their parts department is made by Lund. The Lund one is not recessed where the factory one is. Think this is why there is confusion
