.... Who would have thought that a measly little twin could do such?
Uhhhh, Dude. That is a V4 Just sayin'
Edit: I like trucks, jeeps, mules, and crotch rockets..... weird, but I like what I like. In my old age I've found out you can ride a sport bike longer if you have a bigger belly, not sexy but the truth.
You guys are crazy. Somebody asks about a 96 mph speed limiter on a Super Duty and next you've got people going 186mph on sports bikes and Porsches.
Mark's point about the driveshaft is very valid. Around here, max interstate speed is still 65mph so anyone hitting the governor is risking an arrest and loss of license.
Impressive but way, way out of my zone of comfort and common sense.
I did 305kph for about 10 minutes on the Autobahn last year near the black forest. It's amazing the ground you cover at 200mph. KTM RC8's are no joke in race trim!

Go over the youtube and look at videos about the Isle of Man TT, 'tis going on right now as a matter of fact, it is addicting, the sound is almost unbelievable. "this is man's country, here".
The HWP let's us prerun and speed on 551 and 603 around me. There's a huge bike culture. The only thing in danger is the rider, and a corn field. Oddly, tractors, Amish buggies, and road debris tend to keep riders honest and not TOO aggressive.
We're only 15 min away form Mid-Ohio sports car course as well. I need some more track time, when the house allows me room in the budget for such. It's nice just rolling the bike into the Super Duty and rolling out.
Have to decide who's coming with me to Tallahassee in August or September. The DrZ 400S for some dirt park roads. Or the Ducati for cruising to the beach/dive areas. Might come down to which one is cheaper to get prepped. The SD has room for both, but not with my ramps.
I don't have a 1.5 million dollar Leitner rack yet. Why do the overland travel fans all have to be yuppies driving up the cost of everything.

That is why they make trailers. A enclosed cargo trailer is inexpensive and a gateway drug for other trailers.
I have to keep room for a 23' CampLite TT in the distant future. I might be able to hide an open utility trailer in the woods though. A TH would be nice, but since I'm still good at loading bikes, I think a TT is the best option.
The only problem I see, is my short bed might not be able to haul a trailer with the tailgate down, so then a TH might be wiser. But both bikes should be OK if I remove the tail gate and leave it home. Pretty sure both bikes had their tires on the bed, just hung over the tailgate too much to close. Then again, I don't plan on bringing the bikes camping. Mostly I travel for diving and such.
