Hey all, having some trouble narrowing down the issue I'm having with my hazards lights.
Here's what's happening:
Turn signals all around are working.
Brake/tail lights are working.
All bulbs replaced with new LEDs.
Flasher/hazard relays replaced with electronic relays for LEDs and are working.
Hazards work in the front, DO NOT work in the back. Rears don't light up at all (but they do for turn signals). This issue was present before the LEDs were installed as well.
From my research so far, it looks like they're either grounding out somewhere (unlikely because the signals work), or I need to replace the multi-function switch.
LEDs are a known issue on these trucks, specifically the rear brake/tail lights. They need an inline resistor to work correctly, otherwise weird problems occur.
Clean the multi-function switch, maybe wiggle it around a bit. I had a Sable that the hazards didn't want to work at all, as they hadn't been used very much. Repeated use got them to work.
